Animated gifs are kind of like primitive YouTube videos. They are what the pioneers watched on their pioneer Internet (which was built by Chinese immigrants). However primitive they are in this age of HD TV and 3 Dimensional movies, animated gifs are great at capturing moments. Then showing those moments over and over and over again forever (whether they’re one of these 15 Fans Rushing The Field or one of these 10 Crazy Referees). Some of those moments are sports moments, and we collected the 15 Funniest Sports Animated Gifs below.

I know that many people consider the term ”midget” to be a slur, but I guarantee that this wrestling match was not advertised as “Little People Wrestling,” so we’ll go with the common name for the sport.

Bat Crashes Basketball Game And Gets Fouled

I have no idea who Manu Ginobili is, but I do know he’s my hero and on some sort of PETA hit list. A bat was flying around Ginobili during a basketball game. Instead of stopping the game to figure out a humane way to extricate the creature, Ginobili broke out a can of whoop *ss and smacked it down.
