Baseball Manager Terrorizes Reporters

Being on the Royals makes you grouchy. In 1993, after a 5-3 loss to the Tigers, Royals manager Hal McRae was asked if he considered hitting George Brett for Keith Miller (who hit .167 that year) in the seventh inning. That’s when all Hell broke loose. McRae trashed his entire office and even cut a reporter in the face, all while yelling naughty words, which have been bleeped for the video. It was probably terrifying at the time (especially for the bloody reporter), but years later it’s hilarious.

Brett would retire after the season to go on to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and the Crapping Your Pants Hall of Fame. McRae is probably still yelling somewhere, 16 years later.

The meltdown is even more hysterical (or just hysterical if you didn’t like the first video) in super speed.
