Barack Obama Throws Like A Girl, Wears Dad Jeans, Isn’t A Real White Sox Fan

Obama knows basketball. Obama doesn’t know baseball. Last night, Barack Obama made his All-Star Game debut. And it seems the reviews are less than stellar. First of all, Obama trotted out to the field in a White Sox jersey, which is super offensive, apparently. He’d explain that in an interview with Bob Costas, but some problems arose from that, which we’ll get to in a second. But also, check out the President’s Dad Jeans. We thought he was President Cool Guy. Strike two. Next, the weird camera angle on the pitch. Were they hiding something? Some sort of wobbly girl toss?

Now the Costas interview. When Mickey-Mantle-lover Costas asked the President about his White Sox love, Obama mentioned old “Cominskey Field.” Ouch. In the video (after the jump) you can kinda see Costas giving Obama the correct answer (Comiskey Park) and even lets the Prez off the hook when he struggles with the Steve Bartman reference. A guy in White Sox gear hasn’t gotten a nuggie like this since Nolan Ryan trounced Robin Ventura.
